🔊 Cleopatra Beach is located at the foot of a huge cape in the city of Alanya, Turkey. At the top of the cape is a picturesque Seljuk fortress from the 13th century. Primorsky Boulevard near the beach is the active life of the coast, there are cafes, restaurants, children's attractions and sports grounds and water activities
According to legend, the Roman emperor Mark Antony presented this place to his beloved Cleopatra. She liked to be here - the cedar forests, the azure sea, the green cliffs framing it, but the sand soiled her feet too much. By order of the queen, sand was brought here directly from the Nile delta. The story is interesting, but the sand here is really imported - large, heavy, due to which the water is always crystal clear.

По легенде, римский император Марк Антоний подарил это место своей возлюбленной Клеопатре. Ей нравилось здесь бывать - кедровые леса, лазурное море, обрамляющие его зеленые скалы, вот только песок слишком сильно пачкал ноги. По приказу царицы сюда завезли песок прямо из дельты Нила. История занятная, но песок здесь действительно привозной - крупный, тяжелый, за счет чего вода всегда кристально чистая.
